Ambassadors Dinner - Washington DC

The 4th annual EABC Ambassadors dinner took place on Wednesday, July 9 2008 at la Maison Française in Washington DC.

French Ambassador Pierre Vimontchaired the dinner as part of the launch of the French Presidency of the European Union and Dr. Robert Kolodner, National Coordinator, Health Information Technology, US Department of Health & Human Services shared his thoughts on Trans-Atlantic health care competitiveness.

Our one hundred and twenty dinner guests included European Ambassadors, senior US Administration and European Commission officials, and senior EABC company executives.

Ambassadors Dinner - Brussels

The 3rd annual EABC Brussels Ambassadors dinner will be held on Monday, 6 October 2008 at the Bibliothèque Solvay.

French Deputy Permanent Representative to the EU Philippe Leglise-Costa has been invited to chair the dinner as part of the French Presidency of the European Union and C. Boyden Gray, Special Envoy for EU Affairs will share his thoughts on health care reform and the Trans-Atlantic partnership.

Our one hundred dinner guests will include Permanent Representatives, senior European Commission officials, US Mission staff and fifty senior EABC company executives.

Atlantic Leadership Awards Breakfast

Each year EABC presents an award to leaders in the US & EU government and the private sector for exceptional work addressing issues of evolving Trans-Atlantic economic cooperation and regulatory harmony.

The 3rd annual EABC Atlantic Leadership Awards Breakfast was held on Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Willard Hotel in Washington DC.

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox and European Union Commissioner for Internal Market & Services Charlie McCreevy were presented the 2008 award for their work in advancing increased cooperation between EU and US financial regulators. Vivien Haig, Director General, Transatlantic Policy Network accepted the private sector award. James Quigley, Global CEO Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu was the host of the breakfast.
